A generously filled CD which is all self-penned, Bible-based and suitably God-centred, not surprisingly, as Alan is regularly involved in the worship at the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship meetings in Wigan. The magnum opus (at nearly seven minutes) is the title track, inspired by Isaiah 40:28-31, the first few songs are lively, but the second half of the CD is pretty much all at the same tempo (ie, slow-medium) and all the songs suffer from familiarity, using well known words, phrases and bits of Scripture. The sleeve notes acknowledge the help of veteran rocker Norman Barratt; some of Norm's hot axe might not have come amiss to liven things up a little. As it is, it's a bit of a plod.

Alan Kelly's CD will inspire you to devote your life to following Jesus Christ. Endearing inspirational lyrics from a great Christian lyricist, his anointed upbeat praise and intimate worship songs manifest God's powerful presence into your life and home. I recommend this album to be in every Christian's private music library - a fantastic album from a very good worship leader!
