I loved this debut album of these Swedish rockers from the energetic opener "Fire" right to the moving final track "I Want This Night To Be Over". Alibi Tom's creativity and willingness to experiment is evident. They have produced an interesting sound of progressive Britpop-influenced rock with some vibrant harmonies and strong melodies. This album is packed with melancholic and bittersweet lyrics that still feel warm and positive. The layers of meaning poetically tell of human experiences. The standout of the album for me is "Sometimes I'm Afraid" which reaches into God with a degree of honesty that is sometimes missing in Christian music. Alibi Tom are onto a winner with this album and are clearly a name to watch.
