"I love you Lord, and I lift my voice to worship you my friend" is the opening lyrics to the album 'Consider' by this American singer which sets the theme and the tone of the songs that follow. Stylistically, 'Consider' is a fusion of many styles including pop, jazz, Latin, and gospel - and I am not convinced that this is the strength of the album or its undoing. The lyrical content touches on God's unsearchable greatness ("Greatly To Be Praised"), and the King of spiritual warfare ("Warrior King"). However, I just feel that the musical content and production has a dated feel. Ys, there iss jazz ("Rest"), Latin ("Cuan Bello Eres") and gospel/rock ("Glorious Throne") but these trackst sound like the 80s version of those styles. Yet, all is not all lost, as there is a hidden gem in the outstanding "Fragrance". Overall though, this set fails to connect.

Product Description
'Consider' explores the unsearchable greatness of God through the beauty and majesty of Christ Jesus. Conceived in the night hours at the International House of Prayer–KC, Alisha Powell uses scripture as her guide, singing of Christ's suffering as Savior and proclaiming His eternal reign as King.
With a hunger to create lyrics that profess the authority and glory of God, 'Consider' inspires powerful worship. The album expresses Alisha’s passionate heart through an eclectic musical palette as threads of gospel, jazz and latin are woven around strong vocals of corporate worship.
'Consider' blesses the Lord through both joyous praise and poignant adoration, invading the heart with a clear picture of the mercy of God and His never-ending kindness.
