Fine collection of choice tracks from one of the most talented people around. The voice is early Emmylou Harris in its aching sweetness and beauty and her fiddle prowess is top class. Some tracks feature her own band Union Station, others are with the Cox Family and the rest feature musicians of the calibre of Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, Ron Block and Sam Bush: in other words, the best. Some lovely songs on this album. "I Will", "In The Palm Of Your Hand" and "When God Dips His Pen Of Love In My Heart" are amongst my personal favourites. Top quality gospel, bluegrass and country, all treated to the richest acoustic finesse and above all, a voice you'll instantly fall in love with. "When You Say Nothing At All" from the Keith Whitley Tribute' album closes the programme in a way that leaves one awestruck and breathless. Great compilation of a wonderful artist.
