The purpose of Alleluia! Music, according to the cassette insert, is to "bring you into the presence of God by creating a personal time - just you and the Lord." Each side of the album is a 'separate' worship session, and as such the songs venture from thanksgiving, into a time of reflecting God's character and then reach a final destination of worship. As its title suggests, the theme of this album is the love of God, in all of its various manifestations. No one song on 'Your Love' is similar to any of the others. You needn't worry about becoming bored with this album - the variety of duets, solos and communal singing is a breath of fresh air compared with some other praise and worship albums that are on the market. All in all, this is an up-tempo, contemporary praise and worship album which exudes professionalism (plenty of top quality singing and playing from hand picked US musos) and which, for me, did fulfil its purpose.
