This Devon-based singer had a brief period with local group Nova, who released an album in 2013. 'The Journey' is Amy's debut solo release and this five-track EP of worship focused songs is in a similar mode to artists such as Lou Fellingham. Amy has an ideal voice for this style, highlighted by tracks such as "Ocean Of Grace" and the vocally rich "We Run" which are simple, piano-driven ballads expressing heartfelt worship. The opener "The Great Shepherd" is an upbeat song suited for airplay, with a catchy chorus, and "Beautiful Love" is similar. There is nothing groundbreaking here, but there is huge potential on display.
