No doubt the quality of this new-to-the-UK Florida band was conveyed by the storming track “Ready Fuels“ on the sampler accompanying Cross Rhythms 74. I’m delighted to report that the whole album is of a similar quality with “Foreign Language” also sounding like a radio hit with its melodic force and driving fluidity recalling bands like the Foo Fighters and Superdrag. When you get Tooth & Nail, who down the years have released shedloads of albums, declaring that ‘Blueprint For A Black Market’ is “truly one of the best albums we have released,” there can be little doubt that this is something special. A must for every rock buff.
