Great singers, great songwriters (Stuart Townend, Godfrey Birtill, David Gate et al) and great songs ("God Of Mercy", "Lord Turn Your Footsteps", etc). I cannot recommend this CD of reflective and petitionary songs more highly. I like the idea of the three different female voices to provide continuity and also contrast. And the choice of songs and the voice to sing each is outstanding. There are two Godfrey Birtill songs on the disc, and in true Birtill tradition, neither is what you would call "feminine". But performed here by Andreana Arganda and Lou Fellingham respectively, a tenderness emerges from both that I hadn't suspected was in them before. This is an outstanding CD.
