This is the debut five track EP from the worship pastor at Re:Hope Next Generation Bible Church in Glasgow. The arrangements are what you would expect from a small contemporary church, the songs are acoustic guitar-led with strong piano support and female backing vocals, but to give occasional strength there is also the sympathetic use of drums, bass and a bluesy lead guitar. The recording is pretty basic (sleeve notes suggest only the drums were recorded in a studio), with unadorned arrangements while the five songs include two classic hymns: "Here Is Love (Vast As The Ocean)" and "Come Thou Fount". Of Andy's own compositions "Your Blood" starts exactly the same as Matt Redman's "Your Blood Speaks A Better Word". With five lines fitting into two and a half minutes, this track is more like a chorus that could be looped repeatedly in worship. The other two of Andy's track are longer at over five minutes each. "We Believe" contains a lyric of adoration. Overall, Andy's songwriting skills and worship heart are clearly there to be developed.
