I don't know about you, but I find reading devotion books a lot like wading through treacle. More often than not, they are heavy going, hard to fathom and pretty soon I'm making every excuse in the book as to why it should stay on the shelf and remain unread. God360 by Andy Flannagan is for people like me. It's written in plain English and meets people where they are. Andy is, of course, a nationally popular songwriter and worship leader and here demonstrates he's also an excellent writer and one with much to communicate. What gives this series of devotions the edge is the emphasis on doing, rather than just reading. For example, Andy encourages readers to pray for their area from the top of a multi-storey car park, just like Moses prayed for the battle below in Exodus 17, and wash friend's cars to help express their faith. There is also an excellent and challenging foreword by Pete Greig. An excellent book. There should be more devotionals written like this.

Product Description

120 original and practical experiences to enable you to step into the thrilling story of God.

Why do we still do devotions as if it is the 19th century?
We preach about 'knowing God' and we learn experientially in many other ways. So why don't we step into the story of God, rather than just read it?

God360 provides exciting ways to take us into the story, and to take the story into the present.
Each devotion contains biblical exegesis and an experience to give context or an active outworking.
Knowing grows in the doing.

If you actually get off the couch, Andy Flannagan guarantees that this will change your life, as it changed his.
