An excellent collection of original contemporary praise and worship songs, produced by two very talented artists, ably supported by family and friends, including lona percussionist Terl Bryant. Music buffs will recognise the names Piercy and Clifton as well, the former once fronting pioneering rockers After The Fire, the latter being a sideman with such pop luminaries as Julia Fordham and Tanita Tikaram. The title, and opening, track of the album is full of energy and almost impossible not to dance to. "Come Let Us Sing" is similarly loud and lively and if I was to level any criticism at all it would be that these are the only two uptempo songs on the tape. Having said that, the majority of the other songs are very good with some strong hooks, most notably on "Oh How I Love Your Law". "Father In Heaven", based on the Lord's prayer, is very powerful, as is my favourite song, the rather dreamy "Precious In Your Eyes" which deserves to become a classic. The haunting backing vocals of the last verse of this track are superb. All in all a terrific offering worthy of greater distribution.
