This self-produced album comes from a couple whose conversion in 1981 after nine years of marriage and an ascent career in mainstream music led them into Christian ministry and music. Andy White was ordained in 1992 and is now a pastor and worship leader in the eastern USA. The 12 songs in this set are a great showcase for his guitar work and his wife Marsha joins on vocals, together with a tight bunch of musos who add some powerful backing to the whole project. All the songs except two are written by Andy and/or Marsha ("Hide Me Here/Shelter" is by Eric Green and Kent Henry, and "Desperate" is by Maurice Crane). The music is pretty standard fare, with familiar rhythms and undemanding melodies, and the lyrics are shot through with biblical images and idioms. In fact, there's a psalm-like feel to much of the album and that is conveyed both in the language and the underlying attitude of gratitude to and dependence on God. There's even a song entitled "Selah 2u", a reference to the odd, untranslatable word you find scattered through the Psalter. The best songs are those which allow Andy to take off on his soaring guitar solos, but the opening "Well Done" and closing "The Dance Of The Redeemed" are worth a second listen. On the whole it's a competent album, but there is little that makes it remarkable.

I have known these two for literally my ENTIRE life ;) and I'm so proud of them for putting this together and releasing it, it took a lot of courage and hard work. I'm so happy that "Andy" gets to FINALLY rock out on his guitar the way he should be able to, he's always had such an awesome talent and it's wonderful that it is finally being appreciated.

This cd is absolutely awesome! The songs are uplifting and of great encouragement. Words that I would use to describe this cd would be "Rescued" out and up into "Freedom" by the power of Jesus Christ. Each song represents the Fatherhood of God towards His children. Loved it!!

That no matter what life brings our way, we will stand and trust in our God and He is right there with His love that sets His people free

I love this Album. Andy and Marsha have a heart for deep worship. Andy's writing is awesome and his guitar is excellent. Marsha has the voice of an angel.I have know them for the better part of 20 yrs and I know where this album was birthed from. It truly shares their honest hearts with the listeners. It not only was a labor of love but a true testiment to the redeaming and loving and saving power of Jesus Christ. God is merciful. Whne you listen to this Cd you hear the heart of the father to his children.
He rescued us all.
AMEN AMEN.

Having listened to the cd, it represents all of the things that we as ordinary christians go thru. While you site only two songs, they all(all of the songs) represent things and ideas that we should grab hold to in our daily lives to maintain and uplift the Kingdom of God. As one drives to work or meditates in their quite time, I find the cd very comforting. You're right Mr white rocks on guitar thru out the cd.

Andy's guitar solos drive it home!
Great Job!
