Christmas music from a gospel diva with quite an international flavour to it. Antonia was born in Manchester, UK, her parents are from Jamaica, she was raised in Canada and now resides in Norcross, Georgia, where she leads worship for the 4,000-member Victory World Church. The opening cut, the self-written "Caribbean Christmas", is fun, full of peppy percussion and which veers off into a carol medley. It could have been a mess but somehow works. Then there's an updated version of "Go Tell It On The Mountain", a competent run through of "Joy To The Word", some good soulful originals full of impressive emoting. Equally impressive is that Antonia produced the project. Clearly a big talent with a big voice, Antonia deserves major record label support.
