This five piece band hail from Alabama, USA and bring to us an inspiring piece of work that sounds like it has been recorded in the dark dungeons of a huge stone castle. Each song on this album has been inspired by a different piece of Scripture and Donna Worsham's honey-drenched voice on "The Story" is enchanting. What we have here is a heavy ensemble of electric guitars, keyboards and drums. The haunting waves of electric guitar drones are backed by the gentle but amazingly passionate and expressive vocals of Donna Worsham, wife of bass guitarist, David Worsham. As tight as you can imagine instrumentally and in production with the only real downfall being that it does sound as though it should have been recorded about 25 years ago. However, there is still an intriguing quality about this 10-track CD which avoids becoming completely repetitive as it concludes with a sample of what lead guitarist Kevin McElyea can do vocally on "Rocky Road"; a keyboard suffused track that concludes a well mastered album and somehow draws it into the present day. To be honest, I really wouldn't have minded hearing more of McElyea on this album.
