On the evidence of this 3-song tape this new team with 3 female vocalists are just what their accompanying letter say -"melodic with folk influences." And very nice it is too. Jane Burd's violin glides nicely behind the attractively blended voices and only the guitars being mixed too down and a rather nasty drum sound stops this being up there with the big budget boys. But don't be put off. The mid-tempo opener "Autumn Gold" is growing on me with every play as too is the ballad "You're Coming Back". These lads and lasses are good...ask Alice.
