Reviewed by Stephen Luff Manchester Audacious Church is fast gaining a reputation for energetic, relevant, "in your face" worship. This album follows the first, 'Overflow', and a DVD of live worship, in offering an experience that gets to the heart, and takes its title from Romans 8:11. The opener, "The Answer" with its swirling guitar landscape, sets the musical framework for the album. "All My Praise" sounds like a cross between U2 and Yfriday with its engaging guitar riff and its anthem style chorus. The same guitar style is also used on "Fire" with great effect. The pace slows with "I Give You My Heart" which engages the heart and mind with its beautiful worship lyrics 'Take The Whole Of Me/ Take My Everything/All My Hopes And Dreams....For The Glory Of Your Name', and the intimate "Speechless" with prayerful lyrics "Take it all/Give me the cross". Other tracks of note is the Maroon5 sounding (with female vocal!) "I Will Bless The Lord" and the atmospheric "Love Overflowing". This album is simply outstanding.

A great album with a greater range of musical styles than previous albums with more band members writing songs. Buy and be blessed.
