The tracks provide a pleasant ambience for times of relaxation and meditation from a British pianist. The tracks are gentle and flow by almost unnoticed, with quite a lot of similar and repetitive phrases. Some tracks are very similar but a useful aid to shutting out other sounds and allowing you to focus on Scripture and prayer. The melodies did not jump out at me and I think this is helpful and doesn't distract you so allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and counsel you. Tracks include "The Consolation", "The Call" and "The Promise". The title track explores the theme of searching for light in the apparent darkness we can often find around us. Having said that, this instrumental offering is rather formulaic and with so much similar ambient stuff around is unlikely to cause too many ripples of interest.
