Although this team of American Christian radio hit makers have only once scaled the breathtaking heights with their classic 'A Maze Of Grace' album, they have shown themselves to be classy purveyors of sanctified pop with the kind of switched leads and swooping harmonies that most UK acts can only dream about. Having said all that, this project is unlikely to win them any new fans. Just look at the track list: "The First Noel", "Angels We Have Heard On High", "Hark The Herald Angels Sing", "O Come O Come Emanuel", "Away In A Manger", "O Little Town", "Silent Night"... Yes, all the usual suspects. To be fair, on some of the arrangements the band try and bring a contemporary pop twist to the carols while their version of the David Meece classic "We Are The Reason" shows just how good the song is. But there's still far too much filler here.
