A Reading 5 piece who wear their influences on their sleeves (Inspirational [Inspiral?] Carpets and The Cure predominate) have gigged around (including Greenbelt Fringe last year) and now offer a 6-song cassette, side one recorded live at Southampton's University Student's Union. It's all very British, the spiritual messages are there if in somewhat subdued form, and despite some occasionally ragged vocals and meandering arrangement show a band with plenty of sparkle. Watch out fore's.
