A superb set of Hebrew worship songs, delightfully sung by a talented duo of Messianic believers. Much of the backing blends traditional Hebrew sounds with contemporary strands, often heavily percussive. The swirling flute sounds come courtesy of David Fitzgerald, with several other well known UK musicians weighing in too. Several songs are becoming well known. "Kadosh" has been recorded by Helen Shapiro and "Hodu L'Adonai" is rapidly becoming a standard in Messianic circles. "Kumi Ori" is one of the catchiest tunes and even includes a rap section. There you go eh, Messianic rap, whatever next? Of course, "Hava Nagila" is on board, as infectious as ever. Interesting to see that "Esa Einai'"s melody is by the legendary folk singer Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach (legendary in Jewish circles anyway). Listen to learn, for entertainment or preferably both. Excellent biblical music, English lyrics included for you.
