If you saw BeBe and CeCe live, some of this will sound familiar due to vocals from Angie and Debbie Winans. However there are few actual lead vocals here - Ben Tankard is a keyboard player who credits George Duke and Quincy Jones as main influences, giving a good idea what to expect. Ben, who played most of the instruments and produced the album, plus vocalists the Winans sisters and Mervyn Warren of Take 6 are all well capable, but the end product is like a collection of backing tracks from 12" singles. If you marvel over the musicianship on instrumental albums, or want background sounds this could be a *** or **** but for me and the rest of the public...
