Given a crisp production by Dan Bowater and Howard Williams at db in Lincoln, ‘Colours Of Heaven’ makes all the right sounds and has in the song "Smile" one absolute standout (in fact, the track is currently getting airplay on Cross Rhythms radio). Beth is undeniably a gifted songwriter and though occasionally her voice lacks the power and distinctiveness to rise above the arrangements, that "Smile" gem shows that she can deliver. The British CCM scene needs more quality pop artists so everyone should note the name Beth Thrower.
