A very nicely produced and presented CD of haunting violin music from a lass from West Wales who now lives and works in Norway. The music is largely Norwegian traditional melodies, but with a smattering of hymnody ("Amazing Grace", "Abide With Me"), praise and worship (Chris Bowater's "Here I Am"), some classical stuff from Cesar Franck and JS Bach, and the title track is an original piece by Bethan's keyboard player and programmer Owe Lie-Bjelland. The arrangements are deliberately straightforward and simple, with some vocals here and there, and I thoroughly enjoyed it from first lo last. Highlight for me: Bach's "Air", popularly known as "Air On The G String", accompanied by Owe's synth set in harpsichord mode - beautiful.
