Having picked up considerable interest with her 'Voice Of Hope' album, a number of remixers have now got in amongst the tracks to offer a more club-orientated approach to the one time X-Factor contestant. From the opening track it becomes apparent very quickly that 'Voice Of Hope' is an album filled with bags of high energy. "Heaven Help Us All" is a dance track that has you tapping your feet and goading you to leave your seat and dance. Beverley's vocals are exceptional and blend well on this heavy bass dance number. There are three versions of the song on this download project and I would usually say there was no need for the duplication. But in this instance it is a wise decision, the second version is a more jazz influence which is relaxing allowing you to take more notice of the strong lyrics. The third features heavy bass and a mixture of jazz, soul and house. "You Are My Life (Jon T's Stepping Remix)" is a soulful house version which is currently receiving some radio play. It's a warm song that is perfect for sunny days or to heat up a spiritual cold period. If jazz is more your style than the piano-led version on "The Voice Of Hope" featuring Ronnie Francis is a treat. Beverley's vocals are very strong and because she is only accompanied by a piano you are able to listen to her obviously strong singing talent. The alternative remix of this song was not necessary. They are both house versions but here I feel the third track need not be included.
