Big John is my uncle. The family finally was able to locate a copy and its amazing the sound quality when this album was recorded. This is just one of the legacies the Landis family leaves behind!!!
Greetings, Mr. Landis! My father was Roy "Billie" Braswell, who sang bass on this album. I lost my copy many years ago and have not been able to find another. What a blessing that I stumbled across your message! Is it possible to purchase a CD of the album? I haven't seen that album cover in so many years. It almost brought tears to my eyes. My wife and I had the pleasure of viewing a tape this afternoon by a friend, who was a friend of Big Johns'. This was a first for us, seeing and hearing about your wonderful family. We are now wondering if there are CD's made and if so, where can we purchase them? We've been on the internet all afternoon trying to locate some, but to no avail. We truly enjoyed the tape and cannot seem to stop talking it. Any and all information you can give us will be greatly appreciated.
