These songs were great when they first appeared maybe two years ago. Now they just got better! Groovylizer presents two garage remixes on one 12", both up-to-date interpretations of the well worn classics. First is Big Moses featuring Philip Ramirez: the Happy Daze remix of Brighter Day. The sliding bass riff is outstanding and the filtered breaks add to the excitement, while Philip's false-sotto vocals are so uplifting you'll be dancing on the ceiling by the end of the track! The Disco Church remix of "Solid Ground" by Jasper St Co is suitably faster than the original, but it loses none of the powerful praise and worship vibe. The organ sustains its classic sound while the rhythm passes through a variety of filters and the singer tells of how cool Jesus is! If you see this record for sale, give it a good home and glue it to your turntable.
