Blaze is a monthly multi-media knees-up held in the Coign Church, Woking, targeted at late teens and this six-song CD EP has hearteningly been given a push by Kingsway/Survivor.  These studio recordings feature several lead vocalists/worship leaders, the most prominent being re.vive’s Paul Oakley though aficionados of the gone-but-not-forgotten Electric Revival will recognise the name Tim Sherrington.  In fact it’s the haunting, brooding Sherrington-led “Search My Soul” which is the standout cut and is currently getting UCB Cross Rhythms radio exposure.  If your tastes veer towards the Redman/Smith style of rock-tinged worship or if you’re simply looking for worship with bite check out this EP.
