A nicely packaged, well-produced 6-tracker showing the band have come on leaps and bounds from their former 'A Finer Place'. On that they were another band-in-search-of-a-style, but here they've found a far greater music cohesion though still refraining from settling on one particular sound - elements of hook-laden pop, roots and indie have now focused into a mature rock sound. Particularly effective is the rather eerie "One Foot In Eden" with some fine guitar work, the dirge-slow soul blues "Someone Like Me" where a sister takes the soulful lead, and the pop-hook opener "Angel". Well worth a postal order.
