As soon as my theologically astute mother-in-law saw the title of this album 'He Will Save You With Bob Fitts', she immediately asked, "But didn't God send Jesus to do the job?" This is yet another live album from Hosanna and while this one is sonically satisfying, expertly produced and has all the right ingredients - a together worship band, a confident worship leader and an enthusiastic audience, there is still something missing. Having listened to this seven times in an attempt to "get into it", it still washes over me blurring into a mass of call and response and nice but totally unmemorable songs. There are however two highlights, two mountainous peaks amongst the foothills of the ordinary found here. The first is Bob Fitts' version of Andy Park's rousing "The River Is Here" which is given an Appalachian feel using a gorgeous hammered dulcimer sound. Brilliant! The other standout is the title song, "He Will Come And Save You", a song of comfort in the deliverance of God. Unfortunately neither song is enough to save this album.

Hi,
I disagree with you about bob's album He Will Save
You.I have the c.d at home and it has really been a blessing
to me and also to everybody that has listened to it.The song
'O Lord to You' by Gary sadler, featured in the album is one
of the most passi onate worship songs I've ever listened
to.
We should be careful not to listen to the works of this
called men of God with a secular eye but the impact on them
to our spiritual lives is what matters. He Will Save You fits
into that billing.
Your love in Christ.
