Fusion jazz versions of familiar praise numbers like "Open Our Eyes" and "Glorify Thy Name". Maranatha! Music have done a similar thing before (remember John Mehler And Kenneth Nash?), but it's never been done better with top rate instrumentalists like John Patitucci, Alex Acuna and Larry Williams contributing tight rhythms and fluid solos. There's some vocals too with Alfie Silas (how many Christians caught on to her Motown album a while back?) and the gloriously soulful Tata Vega (whose duet with Rick Riso on "Oh Happy Day" is alone worth the album's purchase price). Investigate this quality item.
