Worship leader and father of four from Atlanta, Georgia, Brandon Scott Smith is an accomplished singer/songwriter. This seven-song EP is rock flavoured but contains acoustic, ballad and even pop tracks alongside the Creed-esque rockers "My Thorn" and "Come On With That". The project was put together by Billy Hume, a respected secular rap producer. The radio-friendly "Out On A Limb" is uplifting both musically and lyrically as it reminds us of a God who welcomes even the one who rejects his love whilst the acoustic based "More Like You" expresses a yearning to grow more like Christ. Overall, a strong debut.
