After listening to Atlanta-based Brandon's debut album, 'Modern Day Prodigal', which was diverse and eclectic, I was hopeful about his second endeavour. After four years, I have to say this three-track EP is not entirely thirst quenching. 'See The Glory' opens with the title track, which features catchy guitar licks and quirky production, before moving into "Waiting For You", a grittier rock song. Returning to simplicity, "Can't Get Enough", a sweet and heartfelt love ballad, rounds the record off. Aside from his exceptional vocals, there seems to be nothing innovative or fresh about this disc. Although the tunes are appealing and hummable, I was hoping for more creativity. Having said that, this download project seeks to raise funds for a feeding programme in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. Visit www.nohungrychildren.org to listen to the project.
