| Brian Doerksen - Live In Europe |

Reviewed by David Faulkner If you want a representative (but not exhaustive) summary of one of today's finest worship songwriters, then look no further. Songs come from the three main phases of Doerksen's career: the North American Vineyard time, the British Vineyard stage and his current work with Integrity. And there's the inevitable previously unreleased song to catch completists. Instrumentation is wildly eclectic: standard band with a Hammond-like keyboard, Celtic pennywhistles and classical oboe. The songs are outstanding, even if curiously for a live release you can't hear the audience (congregation?) on every track. Don't let my minor carps put you off. Doerksen is one of Christendom's greatest worship songwriter and songs here like "Refiner's Fire" and "Faithful One" are true classics. If you want to worship, you'll be putting this on repeat play and burning it to iTunes just as I did.
