Having recorded his debut album in 1995 California-based Brian has certainly waited a long time before releasing his second and if I'm brutally honest I can see why. The opener is a cover version of the Eagles classic, "Desperado". My initial response was to wonder is it me or is this guy totally unable to sing? On later tracks on this five-song EP Brian sings some of his own country-tinged songs where he opts to rock out and the voice gets a bit more lost under the guitar work which is actually quite good. To be honest though those vocals are going nowhere and despite an obvious songwriting ability and some considerable skill on the guitar, nothing can compensate for a poor voice.
