This EP from the young alternative rockers from Norwich acts as a showcase for some promising songwriting potential. It opens as it means to go on with the catchy and upbeat "Chasing The Wind" with a driving, melodic bass line, powerful guitars and some thoughtful, well-written lyrics. Other standouts on the six-track CD are "Where I Draw The Line" and the excellent "Climb" which is perhaps the best example of Brokenfor's powerful, sing-along choruses. The home production is not always as clean as it could be and at certain points it feels as if all the different aspects of the music do not quite fit together. On occasion a bassline may sound slightly out of place and sometimes singer Ben Lawrence can sound a little uncomfortable. However, this is still a vast improvement on earlier releases.
