OK, I have to admit that I met one of the guys from this band at an exhibition in Nashville and just presumed that they'd be bland CCMsters with adenine music, nice songs, nice clean-cut image and clean-cut harmonies! What do we have? Actually this is poppy but with a bit of an edge, interesting songs, strong production and it's all a bit  good! Only thing I got right - clean-cut harmonies! These boys can sing! Brother's Keeper manage to stand out from the crowd just enough to gain my attention even though their songs have mainly been created for them by producer Kevin Paige. What do I like? "Graceland" is a clever Jesus v Elvis contest with the King of Kings defeating the King of rock 'n' roll! "Heart Attack" is a biting incisive cry for the love of Jesus to touch the heart. "Miss Right"  is all about waiting for the right girl to come along and the opening cut "Rain On" is a pumping piece of pop which neatly sets the pace for the rest of the album. Just like the call and response on the groovy "Too Cool" where they ask "is it cool?" I find I have to answer, yes it is ! Not classic but cool fresh pop full of flavour!
