Someone must stop these silly film students, when they get a chance of directing their first video, from doing a zoom, shake, re-focus, zoom exercise so that a 30 second chap-facing-camera (Bruce introducing his live concert stood by a cowshed - the cow moos near the end) takes on the surreal pomposity of Felini on speed. Thankfully, once country gospel's finest gets to the concert camera/direction sanity returns. It can't truly be said that fans watching Bruce in an intimate audience-knees-in-his-face setting will gain a great deal they didn't get from the 'One Summer Evening' CD. But the songs are good, he sings with warmth and laid back bonhomie and the concert was clearly a minor triumph.
