Here's a collection of old favourite hymns from three talented Canadian musicians - Jon Buller (who has released at least four solo albums in the past), Nolan Balzer and Kevin Aichele. Created out of a love and respect of hymnody, this collection of Americana-tinged rearrangements for acoustic guitar strip the hymns back so that the timeless lyrics impact the listener with real freshness. There are a well chosen selection of hymns here with "Come Thou Fount", "Trust And Obey", "I'd Rather Have Jesus" and the wonderful opener "My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less" standing out. If you're looking for a non-choral approach to hymnody these deft and inspiring interpretations are a wise choice.

These hymns are wonderfully and simply done with guitar and harmony. I worked at several Christian youth camps while in college and these hymns remind me of sitting around a campfire singing praises to our God deep in his creation. Thanks you to the artists.
