COGIC have long been established as one of Britain's best choirs. On album they've been a bit patchy. Only some of the tracks here really come off. The kids' rap "Shine Lord" is by far the best put-across song on the album; other times the COGICs try things which end up with you wishing they hadn't, as on their version of "Kumbaya". There are no out-and-out Christian show-stoppers on this fare. However, it does provide you with an insight into one of the UK's top black gospel teams
