The thoroughly engaging American folk pop of Caedmon's Call has long been one of the most reliable components of the Nashville CCM scene and following their ambitious world music project 'Share The Well' they now return with their second collection of praise songs. It's classy stuff. The rollicking "Sing His Love" sounds like it could draw any congregation into a sing-along while their take on classic hymns like "Draw Me Nearer" and "I Surrender All" bring out all the wistful poignancy that this band so often invoke. "Rest Upon us" is a tender-hearted personal prayer for direction and "Great And Mighty" is a jangly guitar pop praise opus that sounds like the kind of thing American radio will lap up. If you're already a devoted Caedmon's fan or if you've still to discover their winning integration of acoustic folk and radio-friendly pop, this heart-warming album is one to get.

Great cd title, how often we are reminded not to forget to entertain strangers who maybe angels unaware.
This band keeps releasing top notch ccm material since their initial landing into the ccm genre. This new
compilation of songs is no disappointment at its
March 2006 release date. "Great & Mighty" is the
song that every believer needs to see at its fulness.
God is Great and Mighty and nothing is too hard that
we place into his hands. The vocals of group member Danielle Young are highly commendable for opening
song and for the follow up ancient Fannie Crosby
hymn "Draw Me Nearer", I love the band's updated
rendtion. The latter part of cd title is heard in the
song "Sing His Love". "Rest Upon Us" calms the soul
at its soothing acoustic feel; awesome lead vocals
by Danielle Young. "The Fountain" is a reminder to
all believers how important it is for fellowship, I
love this song. Awesome piano by the talented
Randall Goodgame on his penned "Be Merciful To Me"
though first verse is from ancient 1800's.
Band member Josh Moore adds lyrics to the well
known hymn "I Surrender All", what a great new
approach for ancient christian song history.
"We Give Thanks" reminds us not to fail to give
God due thanks for everything. "Fellowship So Deep" is another cd favorite cut, love the lyrics. I love the
hallelujahs, takes me back to another top favorite
song "Hallelujah Never Ending". Every song is well
deserving of compliments. The vocals on each song recorded is at chosen best & acoustics so refined.
This is great ccm at its finest. wtg all!
God Bless, Don
