'Just Listen' is the debut album from US R&B singer Cameron Dukes and shows his skills as writer, arranger, producer and musician (Cam plays guitar, piano and drums on some of the tracks). There are also appearances from Dre Murray, South City (formerly Preachaholicz) and Cleo Draper. The album opens up with "Too Blessed" an upbeat song that speaks of conversion and baptism. The lyrics really show wisdom and great passion for Jesus. In fact, the lyrics throughout this album are first class. They are accessible, gospel-filled, uplifting and challenging. A great example of this is the cleverly written "It Ain't Hard To Do Right". The song is a challenge to step up and make Godly decisions. Musically 'Just Listen' sounds great. The production and arrangements are engaging and fit around Cam's soulful vocals perfectly. So my recommendation is to do as the album tells you, just listen and let this first rate album inspire you.
