"While in Spain all I'd been hearing was 'Hacienda Ecstasy Hacienda Ecstasy.' It sounded like the best thing ever, but Vinny confirmed my thoughts: it was full of Manchester madheads. Sadly The Hacienda was too dangerous, so we scaled our plans down a bit. Vinny and I headed for a little club called Time. I managed half the promise, though, and wedged a couple of Es down my neck." Most of this book is a colourfully told account of deejay, mixer, body popper and clubber Cameron Dante. Cameron with some journalistic help from Craig Borlase, runs through his story of wild parties and prison cells, gun fights and drug dealers with considerable aplomb though as the account finishes with his conversion and takes in none of Cam's time with the World Wide message Tribe or his BBC Christmas radio shows one feels there may be another volume in the future. As a glimpse into the dance/drug culture this colourful account has value.
