Of all rap acts I've come across, these guys are amongst the most spiritually challenging. Some of their material delves real deep into the pain of life but shows the wonderful hope of a loving God who is the "unexplainable but attainable high." Several of their offerings are indispensable classics. Check the beautifully crafted "Proposition". They take you to another plane on "War Crys", using mesmeric and sensitive instrumental samples. Soarin' soulful ladies Lita T, Lisa and Melissa J feature big and keep the flow silky smooth. Although some tracks don't hit the mark, those that do uplift again and again.
