I like this a lot. This five-track eponymous EP is the debut from this Florida-based band who formed in 2008 and recorded a year later. Clearly they are a young band, but this is an excellent first effort. The first track "Falling Apart" is the heaviest, and also the weakest. I would say that this is because the vocals are too high in the mix. The track isn't bad, just isn't as good as it could be; however, the other tracks are much better. Because they are basically ballads, they are much more balanced in music and vocals, ranging in style from the guitar-driven "True" to the piano-led "Sorry". Both are very strong tracks, and the final cut "Why Would You?" uses strings to great effect. Indeed, this willingness and ability to use piano and strings means their sound is a bit different from other bands around.
