The first album to be released by Church Army Evangelist, Captain Alan Price (not to be confused with he of Fame and beer commercials) this simple children's album manages to create a live atmosphere, with many easy to sing pieces. It is however rather bland, lacking variety or production fireworks. And I did stand back in amazement at 'The Christian Conga' (mind boggling eh?) Still, the kids on the album seemed to be enjoying it. The children's voices come across clearly and their enthusiasm for the songs didn't go unnoticed. A hundred percent for effort but sorry, not for the content.
