As far as we know the debut from a new American singer. With 'axe hero' Lanny Cordola co-writing some of the songs and playing his guitar on this album, I was expecting this album to be hard rock but I was wrong. This young lady sings country, much in the mould of a favourite of mine, Andy Landis. As well as displaying her own writing talents she also covers songs by both Jeff Lynne and Todd Rundgren. From the poppy opening track "The Passion", Carol's voice easily slips into mellow ballads such as "Kindness" and "Little Angel". Some songs, like "Sea Of Soul", become instant favourites while others need a couple of listens to really appreciate. It's taken more than a year for the album to be released over here, but well worth the wait.
