This collection from the Australian-born, UK-based singer/songwriter much loved by UK festival goers is so basic and simple that it could be really boring. That it isn't at all is testament to Carolyn's fine songwriting skills and understated arrangements, helped by sympathetic keys/programming courtesy of Caroline Bonnett. Carolyn's voice is fragile and yearning throughout, but this actually makes for a really compelling listen. This is an enhanced CD so you've got some interesting extras as well.
