Cathy Burton has gained a reputation for solid songwriting, emotive sensitive songs and a gorgeous vocal delivery. Nothing on this album will dent that reputation because Cathy delivers a superb third release. Here are the well crafted songs we expect only this time round she's taken a slightly more mellow acoustic approach with her producer husband Paul Burton at the helm. With acoustic guitar, piano and her distinctive breathy vocals to the fore, this uncluttered approach works really well giving themsongs plenty of room to breathe. The songs range from the catchy "God Of The Sky" to the understated beauty of "Open" with intriguing poetic lyrics mapping a range of human experiences and emotions. Standouts include "Tell Me How" which is the most upbeat thing here and the lovely title cut. Cathy always manages to connect at gut level and these laid back, chilled out tunes seep slowly into the subconscious filling the heart with their beauty.
