You read about it last issue, now here is CeCe's hymns album, The longest track (5:29) is "I Surrender All", in which CeCe seeks to emphasise the cost of discipleship. The mood becomes more emotional in the setting of "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", in which CeCe sings a duet with her mother: who has so profoundly affected her musical development that she can never speak of her without tears. The 'big band' style of "Blessed Assurance" arranged by the Caldwell brothers, Victor and Cedrio (the former of whom is CeCe's brother-in-law) was initially viewed rather warily by CeCe until she saw worship as 'fun'. The popular hymn "Blessed Assurance" is sandwiched between "Praise Medley" and "Blood Medley" which feature various well known choruses and the album ends with a short reprise bearing the title of the album, "Alone In His Presence" which brings one full circle to the first main track.
