Designed as a showcase of songs that "reate an atmosphere for the presence of God", this collection is centred on the Pure Worship Choir, with guest leaders alongside the project's main selling point, gospel star CeCe. There are indeed some amazing live performances here. For example, "Agnus Dei" (the Michael W Smith song), which features the choir alone, is positively spine tingling. The same can be said for the opening track "Instruments Of Your Peace". The UK's Chris Eaton is the lead singer on "I Will", a song written with Chris Rodriquez which presents an intimate conversation with God and is performed here beautifully. But my personal favourite is "A Little More" with vocalists Drea Rhennee and LeAnne Palmore who powerfully plead with the Lord in a time of difficulty. The high standards of these performances and songs aren't continued elsewhere however and there are a batch of mediocre cuts which drag it down. But if you come across a copy there are some special nuggets well worth investigating here.
